With the women playing in Thailand last week, our television golf viewing here in the U.S. was limited to the men’s tournies.

Two things caught our eye.

First, Geoff Ogilvy’s swing.

Second, all those white belts. My my: they were everywhere!

As for Mr. O, he is definitely the cool cat of the men’s tour. But when it comes to white belts — we ladies shouldn’t let the men have all the fun!

So how about we start with a bit of shopping?

Our first stop (yes, another nod to mr. cool cat!): Puma.

Which is also Erica Blasberg’s brand, thank you very much!

We had a nice surprise when we hit their home page: what a great job Puma’s done to revamp their U.S. online storefront! Good on ya, Puma!

A couple of their white belts in particular caught our eye.

If you want a bit more bling, click through to Puma — and pull down Accessories — for a look at this number on the left. White leather again. But this time, the Puma cat on the brushed silver metal buckle is dressed up with “diamonds.” $50.00 gets you the sparkling kitty.

Nike is another golf apparel brand that  carries white leather belts. No surprise there ;-)

Like the one pictured on the right — in white glove leather. We love the perforations! They make us think of summer . . . rattan . . . sandals. Aaaahhhh! Golf Galaxy carries it for $49.99.

This Nike belt features a swoosh on the buckle.

If you’re a serious Nike gal, of course, you might prefer a buckle with a swoosh.

Zappos.com has just what you’re looking for. And it’s on sale for $50.40.

Of course, when it comes to belts, there’s no reason to stick to golf brands. Right?

So we looked around a bit more on Zappos (which offers free shipping, btw) and found a couple other ideas. Like this Michael Kors leather belt. On sale for $53.10 — nearly $6 off regular price.

Ann Klein white leather belt.

If you like a skinnier belt, how about a half inch number from Ann Klein. Only $38.00.

There’s more in the Zappos shop, of course, including a Diesel alloverme belt that caught our eye, in Italian leather for $62.20.

So have a look around. After all, a white belt can add that extra bit of summery polish to a woman’s golf outfit. And what could be more fun? You can grab onto a fresh new golf fashion trend and spruce up your wardrobe at the same time ;-)
